ÁTVR has decided not to appeal the decision of the Reykjavík District Court on the dismissal of cases that were filed with the aim of stopping the sale of alcohol in domestic online stores. ÁTVR considers that it is not in accordance with the law, violates ÁTVR's monopoly and is in direct opposition to the current alcohol- and public health policy, but the district court dismissed the cases.

ÁTVR has decided to appeal to the National Court the ruling of the Reykjavík District Court, which was announced on 19 March in the cases of ÁTVR against Bjórland ehf. and against Arnar Sigurðsson, Sante ehf. and Santewines SAS.
