Deliveries to Hrísey

ÁTVR has made an arangement with Hríseyjarbúðin on the delivery of products from Vínbúðin's web shop. The goal is to improve service of customers in Hrísey, who can now access the entire range of products available at the Vínbúðin stores. It is Vínbúðin's hope that this service will be well received. In the Web shop customers can browse the product selection, order products and have them sent to the Vínbúðin store of their choice - free of charge. If an order is placed before 2 PM, same day pick up is available at the warehouse in Stuðlaháls 2. In the product list the entire selection of products available at Vínbúðin at any given time can be viewed, and it is also simple to place a special order for the products that are not available on the Vínbúðin's shelves.

Gift cards now available

Gift cards are now available in all Vínbúðin stores and you can choose any amount. You can also buy the gift cards in the Web shop with fixed amounts: 5,000,, 10,000, 15,000 or 20,000 ISK .

Longer opening hours in Hafnarfjörður

Vinbudin in Hafnarfjörður will have longer opening hours from Oktober 3rd. Opening hours will be Mondays to Fridays from 10AM to 8PM and Saturdays from 11AM to 6PM.

Product recall

ÁTVR recalls the product Sóló Sumarbjór, which is a beer, in a 330 ml aluminum can. The product‘s packaging can swell out if the product is not stored in the refrigerator and explode with the associated risk of accident. The recall is only for product with the best before the date: 22/10/2022.

Closed on June 17th

All Vínbúðin stores are closed on Friday June 17th. Thirsday June 16th most stores will be open longer, as if it was Friday.

Closed on Ascension Day

All stores will be closed on the Ascension Day on Thursday 26 May. On Wednesday, May 25th, most our Vínbúðin stores will open as on Fridays. All stores in the capital area will therefore be open from 11-19, but our stores at Dalvegur, Skeifa and Skútuvogur are open from 10-20.

New store in Egilsstadir

Today we opened a new store at Miðvangur 13 in Egilsstaðir (near Bónus, A4 and Lindex). The new store is considerably more spacious than before and the product range has been significantly expanded. Also, all facilities are considerably better than at the previous location, both for customers and staff.

Summer beer 2022

The seasonal Summer-beer is now available in all Vínbúðin stores. In our webshop you can see the availability of Summer beer each time. These seasonal beers will be for sale until August 31st 2020.
