All Vínbúðin stores will be closed on the first day of summer, Thursday, April 23.
On Wednesday, April 22, opening hours will be the same as on Fridays in many Vínbúðin stores. You can find out more about the opening hours of each Vínbúðin store here.

Vínbúðin in Smáralind will be closing as of May 1st. We thank customers for their business over the years and invite them to shop in nearby Vínbúðin stores in Dalvegur, Álfabakki and Garðabær.

Due to bad weather we are not able to open all stores as sceduled. As for now Vínbúðin in Reykjanesbær is currently closed, but will open as soon as possible. We will update this news as information is received from the stores.

All Vínbúðin stores will be closed on Holy Thursday (April 2nd), Good Friday (April 3rd), Easter Sunday (April 5th) and Easter Monday (April 6th). We advice our customers to avoid rush hours and shop timely for the Easter holiday. It's best to shop early in the week and early in the day.

The opening hours of Skútuvogur store have been changed, the new opening hours are:
Mon - Thu: 11-18, Fri 11-19, Sat 11-18
The stores in Skeifan, Dalvegur and Álfrún (Hafnarfjörður) will continue to be open on weekdays from 10-20.

In our store, Heiðrún, at Stuðlaháls 2, the product selection in the wine cooler has been expanded to meet customer demand for rarer products over the holidays. However, some of the selection is only available in limited quantities.

Place your order in the Web store where the selection is the largest, and pick it up where it suits you the best. If you place an online order before 13:00 on weekdays, you can pick it up the same day at Vínbúðin Dalvegur, Heiðrún, Skútuvogur, Skeifa and Álfrún (Hafnarfjörður) as well as the distribution center at Stuðlaháls.

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has issued a yellow weather warning in the capital area, South Iceland and Faxaflói, with an orange weather warning from 17:00.
People are strongly encouraged to stay home and not travel unless absolutely necessary. In order to ensure that employees get home safely, it will not be possible to keep all Vínbúðin stores open.
