Taste: Full-bodied and dry
Many of these wines have been barrel-aged and are rich in
alcohol with strong hints of berries and oak. Most can be stored
for a few years. In this category you will find fuller types of
Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and wines that have been stored
in or exposed to oak.
White wines are best served chilled at 10-12°C. It takes about two hours chilling a bottle from room tempurature in a fridge. Read less
