Despite the cancellation of Oktoberfest in Munich this year due to the global pandemic, sales of October beer in Vínbúðin stores will begin on Thursday September 16th and the sales period will last until October 31st.
A total of 21 products are expected to be available, which is a larger variety than ever before. Of these, 5 are imported and 16 are manufactured in Iceland. The most popular brand, Löwenbrau, will not be available as production was cancelled for this year.
