Faulty product and return of unopened goods
You can return a damaged or defective item and get a replacement, another copy of the same product or a refund.
You can return products purchased in Vínbúðin as long as it is considered as whole and undamaged. Deadline is 30 days and you need to present a cash-receipt or a return ticket.

Special orders are for products that are not available in the Vínbúðin selection, but are ordered directly from domestic suppliers. Customers can place an order at any Vínbúðin store, or by sending an e-mail to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. It's possible to order all or most of the products available at Icelandic alcohol suppliers.
Special orders can take 3-5 days for delivery and can be delivered to all Vínbúðin stores free of charge, but specially ordered products that are not available in Vínbúðin stores can not be returned.

If a customer purchases damaged or defective tobacco, he or she needs to return it to a retailer (the store) who will return the product to ÁTVR, which will take appropriate measures.
